Monts Jura (altitude: 900 to 1,680 m) is the main ski resort of the Ain department and stands at the doorstep of the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park. The villages of Mijoux and Lélex, at the foot of the highest summits of the Jura Mountain, form the ski resort of Monts Jura, which provide 4 ski areas with plenty of opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. Three cabin lifts access the crests line which connects the highest summits of Jura: Cret de la Neige (altitude 1,718 m), Reculet, Mont-Rond, Colombey de Gex... This ski resort is located only afew kilometers from the Swiss border and from the city of Geneva.
